About Us
Hi! We're KayLee (right) and Maygan (left) McFate. We're sisters living in the Billings, MT area. We've grown up being active outdoors, playing volleyball, enjoying photography and being creative. We'd rather go shopping at Goodwill than the mall and we're not afraid of hard work and getting our hands dirty.
We started this store to be an outlet for our creativity and a way to share our products with people like you.
One of our avenues is Christmas Creations. We are third generation wreath makers who are trying to restart and re-brand a family tradition that was started by our grandparents: making and selling evergreen wreaths and decor. Our family used to run a tree lot and sell evergreen decor south of Laurel, MT.
Our goal is to provide high quality, Montana made products at reasonable prices, while preserving our family traditions and sharing the evergreen fragrance with our customers.
History

Tradition
For the Christmas season our whole lives have been spent making and selling wreaths. Our grandparents and parents taught us how to not only make the wreaths but how to decorate and sell them. Combined, our family has over 40 years of experience. This picture shows KayLee (in red), Maygan (in blue and pink), and Tami McFate (in denim) making a wreath in 1999.

Sibling Time
These are the McFate children from top: Daylor, KayLee, and Maygan. Behind us is rows and rows of decorated wreaths, taken in November 2001. Our family used to sell wholesale wreaths to different groups in the community. Now we are moving to a more retail and online store.

Past Products

Off Season
In the off season, January through October, our family is still thinking about Christmas. From picking up pine cones, wiring them, and then painting them we work off and on all year long. Here's a throwback of KayLee (right) and Maygan (left) cleaning out the back of the truck after a day of picking pine cones in 2001.
